The wonderful
Fishtail Neon in Brighton have some wonderful used neon and fairground signage for
sale at the moment. Most of which is signed by artist and shop owner Andy Doig.
There are some larger examples for sale, fairground crosses and a fabulous giant letter N, but I thought these little stars would look great in any home/ studio.
I would recommend a visit to their shop in person if you ever get the chance, otherwise you can keep up-to-date with their goings on
here and take a look at all their signs for sale
here.

#126 - BASF playing time calculator. Another dial for the collection, this one's for determining the minimum tape (remember them?) spool size from the length of playing time and length of tape in feet.
For me it's really all about the BASF logo on that lovely red circle!

Auto Type XXI - some home grown and some more exotic examples from Goodwood Breakfast Club and last weekends GRRC classic track day.
I think the Mercedes Unimog has got to be the favourite of this bunch, it's not everyday you see that and I really like the type.
Roll on Summer car shows, to re-stock the Auto Type vaults. In the meantime, check out the rest of my collection

Our friends at
Castor + Pollux have recently updated their web shop with loads of gorgeous prints from the likes of Paul Catherall, Lisa Jones, Paul Thurlby, Jonny Hannah and these beauties from
Fiona Howard (above).
They also have some great vintage posters and prints including a selection of double-sided vintage French school posters...

It's no secret that I'm a lover of wheels and dials, so when I was asked to add a couple of my collection to the
Vintage Wheel Chart Flickr group it was great to find some that I've never seen before.
I really need to find me one of those Carnation World's Great Invention ones!
